Welcome to Yuniyo (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Yuniyo website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using Yuniyo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About Yuniyo

Yuniyo is a building and community management platform designed to help residential communities manage day-to-day operations such as communication, complaints, maintenance collections, polls, elections, and related activities.

Yuniyo is operated by GRaHMuR Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (India), along with its associated entities, and is currently focused on residential communities in India.

2. Eligibility

To use Yuniyo, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have the authority to act on behalf of yourself or the entity you represent (such as a building, society, or RWA)
  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration

If you are using Yuniyo on behalf of a residential community, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

3. Account Registration & Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities performed through your account
  • Ensuring information you provide is accurate and up to date

You agree not to:

  • Share your account with unauthorized users
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the Platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes

Yuniyo reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Platform Usage Rules

When using Yuniyo, you agree:

  • Not to misuse the Platform or interfere with its normal operation
  • Not to upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content
  • Not to harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Not to attempt unauthorized access to systems or data

Community-level features (such as polls, elections, or announcements) must be used responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws and society bylaws.

5. Payments & Transactions

Yuniyo may enable digital payments such as maintenance collections via third-party payment providers (e.g., UPI).

Important points:

  • Yuniyo does not store your bank or UPI credentials
  • Transaction processing is handled by third-party payment gateways
  • Yuniyo is not responsible for delays, failures, or disputes caused by payment providers

All fees, pricing, and payment rules (including refunds, if applicable) will be communicated transparently within the Platform.

6. Role-Based Access & Community Data

Yuniyo supports role-based access (e.g., Resident, Secretary, Treasurer). Data visibility and permissions depend on your assigned role.

You acknowledge that:

  • Certain information may be visible to other members of your community
  • Community administrators are responsible for managing roles and access
  • Yuniyo is not responsible for internal disputes within a community

7. Content Ownership & License

You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as complaints, messages, or documents).

By submitting content, you grant Yuniyo a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

  • Host, store, process, and display the content
  • Use it solely for operating and improving the Platform

You confirm that you have the right to share any content you upload.

8. Data Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

By using Yuniyo, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability & Modifications

We strive to keep Yuniyo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Yuniyo may:

  • Modify or discontinue features at any time
  • Update these Terms from time to time

Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or website. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Third-Party Services

Yuniyo may integrate with third-party services (payment providers, notifications, analytics, etc.).

We are not responsible for:

  • Third-party services or their policies
  • Any loss or damage arising from their use

Your use of such services is subject to their respective terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Yuniyo is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We disclaim all warranties, including:

  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy or completeness of information
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Yuniyo shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Yuniyo’s total liability shall not exceed the fees paid (if any) by you in the preceding 12 months

This includes, but is not limited to, disputes between residents, administrators, or service providers.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yuniyo, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any applicable laws or third-party rights

14. Termination

You may stop using Yuniyo at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access:

  • If you violate these Terms
  • If required by law
  • To protect the integrity or security of the Platform

Upon termination, certain provisions of these Terms will continue to apply.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
