This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and related matters are handled on Yuniyo (“we”, “our”, “us”). This policy applies to all payments made through the Yuniyo website or mobile applications (collectively, the “Platform”).

By making a payment on Yuniyo, you agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.


1. Nature of Services

Yuniyo is a digital platform that provides building and community management tools, including (but not limited to):

  • Maintenance fee collection

  • Communication and announcements

  • Complaint tracking

  • Polls, elections, and governance tools

Payments made on Yuniyo are typically community-level or service-related and may involve third-party payment gateways.


2. Subscription & Usage Fees

If your building or community subscribes to a paid Yuniyo plan or service:

  • Fees are charged as per the plan selected

  • Pricing, billing cycle, and inclusions are clearly shown before payment

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started.


3. Maintenance Payments Collected via Yuniyo

Maintenance or other dues collected through Yuniyo are paid to the respective residential community, not to Yuniyo.

Therefore:

  • Yuniyo does not control or hold these funds

  • Refunds of maintenance payments are governed by the community’s bylaws and administrators

  • Yuniyo cannot issue refunds for maintenance payments without explicit authorization from the community

Any refund requests related to maintenance must be raised directly with your building or society management.


4. Transaction Failures & Duplicate Payments

In case of:

  • Failed transactions

  • Duplicate payments

  • Amount debited but not reflected

The issue is typically handled by the payment gateway or bank.

Yuniyo will:

  • Assist by providing transaction references

  • Coordinate with the payment provider where possible

Refund timelines are subject to the payment gateway and bank policies, usually ranging from 5–10 business days.


5. Cancellations

a) Platform Services

You may cancel your use of Yuniyo at any time by discontinuing the Platform. However:

  • No refunds are provided for unused time in an active billing cycle

  • Community-level cancellations must be initiated by authorized administrators

b) Feature-Specific Services

Certain future services (such as events, add-ons, or premium modules) may have their own cancellation terms. These will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase.


6. Third-Party Services

Yuniyo may facilitate payments for third-party services (such as service providers or vendors).

In such cases:

  • Refunds are subject to the third party’s policies

  • Yuniyo acts only as a technology facilitator

  • Yuniyo is not liable for third-party refund decisions


7. No Cash Refunds

All approved refunds, if applicable, will be processed back to the original payment method used. Yuniyo does not offer cash refunds.


8. Policy Changes

Yuniyo reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the Platform or website.

Continued use of Yuniyo after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
